National Express East Anglia will launch the enhanced capacity as of December 13th.

Andrew Chivers, of the region for the company, said of the changes: "This forms part of the capacity enhancement programme agreed in partnership with the Department for Transport (DfT) in April this year.

"The provision of the first tranche of additional carriages will enable us to deliver an immediate benefit for our customers."

He added that the transport provider is determined to make additional upgrades to better services throughout the next three years.

The company representative commented that the additional seats showed that National Express is listening and responding to what customers want.

It is the objective of the DfT to make an improved transport network for all, taking into consideration all factors including the environment, the economy and society.ADNFCR-1187-ID-19419780-ADNFCR
